Factors associated with the social remuneration of graduate students: Case study
Synopsis
This chapter focuses on analyzing the factors associated with social reward in students at the Autonomous University of Guerrero, Mexico. To this end, a quantitative methodology was applied through a semi-structured survey of 57 students in two graduate academic programs at the Faculty of Accounting and Administration during the last semester of 2024. The objective of the study is to analyze the factors associated with leadership, satisfaction, and collaboration and social reward in the two graduate academic programs based on the guidelines of the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (SECIHTI). The statistical technique of analysis of variance was applied to the collected information, which examined the relationship between social reward and leadership, satisfaction, and collaboration among the study subjects. Among the main results, it was found that leadership is an important factor in developing social reward compared to satisfaction and collaboration. The conclusion is to seek awareness-raising strategies from a humanistic, scientific, and technological perspective, driven by the growth of social responsibility as a cross-cutting axis of public education policies.
