At Editorial Connection, we are committed to publishing high-quality scientific books, guaranteeing academic rigor, ethics in publishing, and the dissemination of knowledge. Below we present our policies for authors, including guidelines for the submission of manuscripts, criteria for originality and authorship, review process, academic ethics, and open access.
Guidelines for Authors
Authors must meet the following requirements when submitting their manuscript:
- The content must be original, with a significant contribution to scientific knowledge.
- It must comply with the writing and citation standards in APA format (latest edition).
- The manuscript must be structured with a cover page, abstract, introduction, development, conclusions, and references.
Texts in Spanish or English are accepted, with a minimum of 100 pages in Word format (.docx), Times New Roman 12 font, 1.5 line spacing.
A statement of originality and transfer of rights must be included for evaluation and publication.
Originality and Authorship
Originality
- All manuscripts must be unpublished and not under review by another publisher or journal.
- Anti-plagiarism tools will be used to verify the authenticity of the content.
- Redundant or duplicate publication is not permitted without justification and approval from the publisher.
Adequate Authorship
- Only authors who have contributed significantly to the work will be accepted.
- It is recommended to include a description of each author's contribution in cases of co-authorship.
- The inclusion of "honorary authors" who have not participated in the development of the manuscript is not permitted.
Format and Presentation
Manuscripts must be submitted in Word format (.docx) with a minimum length of 100 pages.
The structure must include:
- Cover: Title, name of authors and affiliations.
- Abstract and Keywords: In Spanish and English.
- Introduction: Context, objectives and justification.
- Body of the book: Logically organized chapters.
- Conclusions: Contributions and possible lines of future research.
- Bibliographic References: In APA format (latest edition).
- Annexes (optional): Figures, tables or complementary material.
Review Process
Confidentiality and Objectivity
- The evaluation is carried out by double-blind peer review to ensure impartiality.
- Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the evaluated manuscripts.
Constructive Feedback
- Reviewers will provide detailed comments to improve the quality of the book.
- In case of rejection, clear arguments for the decision will be provided.
Communication with Authors
- Authors will receive notifications about the status of their manuscript at each stage of the editorial process.
- Adjustments and corrections may be requested before final approval.
Review Times
- Preliminary evaluation: 2 weeks.
- Peer review: 4 to 6 weeks.
- Editorial decision: 2 weeks.
- Correction and layout: 3 to 5 weeks.
Ethics and Good Conduct
Academic Integrity
- Authors must guarantee the veracity of the data and conclusions presented.
- Manipulation or falsification of results is prohibited.
Adequate Attribution
- All sources used must be properly cited to avoid plagiarism.
- It is recommended to use reference managers such as Mendeley or Zotero.
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
- Authors must declare any financial, academic or personal conflict of interest that may influence the results.
Open Access
Commitment to Open Access
- Editorial Connection promotes open access to ensure the free dissemination of scientific knowledge.
- Publication on platforms that facilitate global access to content is encouraged.
Open Access Licenses
- Creative Commons licenses will be applied according to the agreement with the authors.
- Authors can choose between CC BY-NC (non-commercial use with attribution) or other compatible licenses.

- Greater visibility and citation of published books.
- Free access for researchers and students worldwide.
- Dissemination in recognized scientific databases and repositories.
Sustainability and Financing
- The publisher may manage funds through academic institutions, agreements and hybrid publication models.
- Editorial processing costs may apply in specific cases, previously informed to the authors.

Manuscripts must be sent to the official email of Editorial Connection, attaching:
- Document in Word format.
- Letter of originality and declaration of authorship.
- Contact information of the authors.
